Wished there was a way to download all your tweets? Looks like Twitter has answered your prayers. Twitter has posted on it’s official blog that it will be rolling out a “Download all your Tweets” feature.
It is pretty simple to download the archive. Before telling you how to download it, let me tell you they will be rolling out this in phases, so don’t be disappointed if you still don’t have this feature. Be rest assured, you will soon get this feature!
How to Download All Your Tweets
Go to the Settings and look for the new “Your Twitter archive”
Click on “Request Your Archive”
If your request is successful, you will get a screen saying the request is being processed and you will be notified via email when the process is completed.
You may get errors due to high volume of requests
The email will contain a link through which you can do your download your Twitter Archive in zip format.
Unzip the file. The folder will contain files in different formats.
While the rest of files are for geeks, others need to open index.html
index.html file will open up in your default browser. It has a beautiful navigation feature that lets you move through various months. The interface also lets you search via Keywords.
