One of the major highlights of iOS 6 was the introduction of the Do No Disturb feature, yes it has had it’s fair share of bugs; but still it remains an important feature. The ability to schedule the Do Not Disturb function is really handy, but sometimes we feel the need to have a shortcut to activate/deactivate it.
Flusterless is a tweak on Cydia which does the job for you! In layman’s terms, Flusterless creates a shortcut for the Do Not Disturb feature providing the users with the ability to gain quick access directly from the lock screen of iPhone.
Flusterless is available for download, free of cost from the BigBoss repository on Cydia which means you need to have a jailbroken device running iOS 6.0 or above.
After the installation, a little icon will be added just besides the time and date banner on the lock screen, that’s it! If you expected some advanced settings or a complex UI, you will be thoroughly disappointed! 🙂
It’s a very neat addon, requiring just a little flick gesture to the right to toggle between the two states of Do Not Disturb.
A small moon icon in a rounded rectangle means that the feature is activated and calls, messages and incoming messages will be screened out. Another flick to the right and the device is back to normal. Doesn’t get more simple than this, does it?
It does feel a bit laggy sometimes, but hopefully it will be fixed in the next update.
Over all it is a very handy tweak if you are a frequent user of the Do Not Disturb feature and don’t have fixed timing of using it via the Auto-schedule feature. It would also be helpful for users who wish to use the Do Not Disturb feature multiple times in a day, as one of the limitation of the auto-schedule feature is you can set it only for a single time. (or you would have to take the trouble to change the timing every time!)
Do let me know what you feel about this Cydia tweak.
