Quiet after a few months of the iOS 7 release, the highly awaited jailbreak was finally out and that too an untethered one. Many have already jailbroken their iOS devices with a hope to break off all the shackles put by Apple and use some cool tweaks. The recently out iOS 7 jailbreak by Evasi0n, may not have much to offer as many of its sources are yet to update thus rendering many tweaks not yet compatible for the amazing iOS7. However, one of the most important tweaks ‘AirBlue sharing’ which is an important virtue of jailbreak is now updated and is available on Cydia.
Apple has been kind enough to provide with ‘Air drop’ for iOS 7 which does enable sharing of files via Bluetooth but it has two main drawbacks-
1- It works only between iOS devices.
2- It is not available on phone 4S (only iphone 5 and above).
Thus, Apple has not been generous enough here to provide a Bluetooth which is compatible with any OS and that too with a good speed. Here comes ‘AirBlue sharing’ as a strong answer to those who believe Apple devices lack Bluetooth connectivity with other devices and trust me, the transfer speed reaches a few ‘mbs’ per second, which is much faster than the other devices. Thus, music, photos, Videos can be easily and swiftly shared via ‘AirBlue sharing’ and conquers this Bluetooth drawback by default.
All you need to do is open Cydia and search for ‘AirBlue sharing’ or you can also find it in ‘Cydia >> Features >> File managers and sharers >> AirBlue sharing’. It is priced at 4.99$ but is worth every penny or even worth more I will say. U can make the payment via Paypal or Amazon.
It is a Big Boss tweak so is also reliable and does not crash. Along with it comes ‘Activator’ which is another very important tweak and you have to set a method for activation of the Bluetooth which comes with it and works separately from the inbuilt Bluetooth software.
Once you enable sending and receiving and set a method of activation, it is all set and you can send or receive files. It is compatible with any device, phone to tab or vice-versa etc and iOS to Android and Symbian and reverse etc. and this is one of the best features of this app.
Now for example if you want to send a song via Bluetooth, open the music library and just tap on the song which you want to send and hold it for a couple of seconds until that icon (shown above) appears. Then tap on it and it searches the Bluetooth enabled devices in the vicinity. Then You find the devices, but initially they come up in some codes (shown below), so wait for a couple of seconds and then the list will have devices with its original names assigned. Select it and it is done.
For photos and videos it is even more simpler as you can mark them and send many at a time. Install it at the earliest and await releases and updates of more such cool tweaks and till then, enjoy a complete Bluetooth with ‘AirBlue sharing’ 🙂
