There are several things we do to our mobile devices that actually help gain nothing in particular. They are just there for one purpose only, to show off our nerdy side and how well we can play round with our device. Jailbreaking or rooting your device allows us to do some of this stuff which we categorize being cool. However, the real victory is when you can uncover one of these cool tricks without having to play around with the files of the device that can cause harm to it. One such col things to do is to add in a blank Homescreen to your iPhone or iPad without jailbreaking your device.
Like we alluded, there is no practical use of the trick apart from making your wallpaper look neat and clear without any app icons for one page. To do this is extremely simple, just follow the steps below to create a blank new page for your iDevice.
Once the device has been detected, go to the Apps tab after selecting the device that has been connected. You need to go to the Apps tab from there which will give you an outline of what your springboard looks like.
Right at the bottom, you will see a Plus sign which if you click will add a new blank page to your device. By default this page would be added at the end, however, by simply clicking and dragging you can move the page around to any place you may want.
Have some patience till the syncing is done, you will be notified of the same in the status box of iTunes. Once done, disconnect your device and you will see the blank page right where you placed it. All this, without any jailbreak.
The method is extremely simple and may well be one of the loopholes left by Apple for iOS 7. We could not confirm if the same would work on iOS 6 or older generations of iOS. However, if you have any questions regarding this method, feel free to get in touch with us via comments section or even our Social Networks. Also, if you do have iOS 6 or earlier versions of iOS and happen to try this method out, do let us know the results too.
