BBM on Android and iOS Receives a Major Update and adds Voice Messages and one touch Sharing
BBM despite not being a runaway success that BlackBerry had expected to be after it went live for Android and iOS is still a very popular option for those who use IM to connect with their friends. So far, the client on iOS and Android was pretty basic, but BlackBerry has decided to roll out a major update to it which brings features such as voice messages, BB Channels, 1 touch sharing etc. This brings BBM on Android and iOS on parity with BBM on a regular BlackBerry device.

Today’s Google Doodle is Dedicated to 6 Romantic Stories
Google has a doodle for just about every major occasion, so it is only expected that on the day of love, that Valentine’s Day is, they would do something special. And Google has not disappointed. The doodle features six unique stories supplied by NPR’s This American Life which illustrates them on candies. For international audience, Google has made a mix-your-own box of chocolates which you can send it to your valentine. Not just there, there is also a feature where if you upload a picture of you hugging or kissing your sweetheart, Google+ automatically makes hearts rain on it. Something, those in love will sure find adorable.

Motorola Moto G has been widely acclimated to be the best Android phone in the budget segment. The device was released on 5th February in India but came with Android 4.3 out of the box. Motorola had promised Android Kitkat very soon and it has delivered on the promise by releasing the update already. Popular Music Service Dhingana Has Shut Down
Dhingana with the likes of Saavn, Gaana and Hungama has been one of the most popular services for the ardent fans of Bollywood music to listen to their favorite songs. However, the service came to a premature end today when a message of GoodBye took over the website. The creators of Dhingana thanked all those who enjoyed the service and said goodbye in a rather classy way. As of now, there is no clear reason as to why the service was shut down, but sure we will know more about it in the coming days.
Popular Messaging App Viber has been Acquired by Rakuten for $900 Million
Viber has been one of the most used services after skype when it comes to making free phone calls over Wi-Fi. The service was a particular hit among the teens. However, Rakuten, a Japanese company that also owns Kobo E-Books has bought Viber for as much as $900 Million. Rakuten plans to be the number one internet services company and the acquisition of Viber certainly sends out a strong signal of intent.
