MWC 2014 may well be a no show for Windows Phone
It has been widely reported that MWC 2014 will see no Windows Phone device unveiled. Instead, Microsoft is said to be holding it’s horses till Build conference when it will show off the next version of Windows Phone that is Windows Phone 8.1. At MWC, where Microsoft does have an official presser, it is expected that microsoft will only outline it’s plans for the future and not give out any detailed information.

HTC M8 to be revealed on March 25th: To come in Gold Color too
HTC M8 might well be the most anticipated Android device this year. The phone has been confirmed to be coming out on 25th of next month and will have a similar metallic build like the HTC One. The launch event will happen both in New York and London. The rumored specs of the device are: Snapdragon 800 SoC, 5 inch screen, a dual rear camera and 1080P HD display.

Windows Phone 8.1 Action Center caught on video
It is no secret that Windows Phone would be getting a dedicated notification center in the update to Windows Phone 8.1. It has been reported that the update will come in April after the Build conference and is expected to bring on screen navigation keys as well as changeable backgrounds on the home screen to existing Windows Phone 8 device. Unleashthephones has caught Action Center in action on an exclusive video above which clearly shows what we can expect in the update.
Samsung Galaxy S5 is rumored to bring a Fingerprint Scanner in Home Button
Taking more than just some inspiration from their long standing rivals in Apple, looks like Samsung is set to bring in fingerprint sensor on the home button of their Samsung Galaxy SV device which is set to be revealed at MWC 2014. There had been rumors that the device may not have a physical home button but with rumors of the fingerprint sensor thick and fast in, looks like the button is to stay in for at least another year. According to Sammobile, who published a story on this, the home button will require you to swipe your finger across it, will record as many as 8 fingers and your prints will be visible on the screen as the process happens.
Microsoft Announces Onedrive: Rebrands Skydrive and offers interesting deals
Microsoft has announced Onedrive which is basically a rebranding of Skydrive. The Cloud service is now available to download for free on iOS and Android. If you sign up with One Drive, you get 7 GB of space free while you can opt in for another 3 GB if you opt for Camera backups. Not just this, there is also a very attractive referral program and if you invite 10 friends successfully to Onedrive, you will get an additional 5 GB of space. So all in all, you have about 15 GB of space in the cloud if you happen to join Onedrive.
