Lenovo was recently in the news when it acquired Motorola from Google. They have been making quite a lot of waves in the smartphone and tablet market, even before announcing the acquisition of Motorola though, which has lead several people name Lenovo as one of the surprise packages to watch out for in 2014.
The Chinese manufacturer took stage at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona earlier today and justified the beliefs of those who said that Lenovo could well spring a surprise or two. The company unveiled three smartphones and a tablet, all of which bring a unique balance to style, substance and battery life.
The Yoga Tablet 10+ HD
The Lenovo Yoga tablet series, right since it’s announcement about two months ago has been one of the most competitive Android tablet series apart from the Nexus series. Lenovo took the game to another level by announcing the Yoga Tablet 10+ HD which brings similar characteristics and design aesthetic as the previous Yoga tablets of hold, stand and tilt, but this time with a bigger screen, better display and longer battery life. the Yoga Tablet 10+ HD comes with a 1920×1200 10.1 inch display and is powered by a Snapdragon 400 SoC. The device promises an 18 hour plus battery life while running Android 4.3 and various Lenovo powered DOit apps. There is also an 8 MP camera for those who like shooting pictures with their tablets. The tablet will be made available for $349 in April which comes to approximately Rs. 21,000.
