Is Apple planning to bring iTunes on Android?
One of the fondest memory of Steve Jobs, for me personally, was when he presented a slide that said, ‘iTunes, the best software written for Windows’. It was the ultimate troll of a competitor and sort of stuff only Steve could pull off. But looks like Tim Cook is planning something similar and could bring iTunes to the rival Mobile OS, Android. It is virtually impossible to imagine an iTunes Store on an Android device, but this could be the best thing to happen to Android as it lacks one clear source of digital content, with Google Play Music and Google Play Movies very much Work in Progress. With iTunes sales not doing great on Apple devices and Windows desktops, there is very little Apple can do other than tap into the large numbers of Android, according to 9to5Mac
