Google Now Hitting the Chrome Web Browser for Desktops
If you like the cards of Google Now, then this is the news you have been waiting for. So far available either on Mobile or Chrome Beta on for the desktop, Google has decided to bring Google Now across the desktops running Chrome Browser. However, the users who have received the update have commented that the desktop experience is not as immersive as that on the mobile, and Google Now itself does not show all the information as it does on Mobile. However, important information such as weather, reminders, directions etc are a part of the desktop experience. The update is rolling out in batches, and you would receive it soon if you haven’t yet.

LG had promised the Android 4.4 update for users in India by end of March and looks like they have kept their words. The update is already rolling out on unlocked LG G2 in India. It would take the device to Android version 4.4.2. The update is 535 MB in size, so we recommend you to connect your LG G2 to Wi-Fi before you update the device unless you are on an unlimited 3G plan. (Credits: Raju PP for Tweet)
LG Knock Code Coming to G Flex and G2 Next Month
LG Knock Code was one of the most spoken about feature of the LG G Pro 2 which was launched at MWC 2014. It basically allows you to unlock the device with a tapping pattern on your device. The feature would be coming to the other flagship devices from LG such as the LG G2 as well as the LG G Flex in the coming month. The update would start rolling out in several countries via a software update, according to this press release by LG.

Xiaomi Smartphones set to land in India very soon
Xiaomi, the popular Chinese brand is set to start the business in India very soon. The company sold about 13 million smartphones last year in China alone and are aiming at selling about 40 Million units this year. The MD of Google India Rajan Anandan tweeted about a meeting with Hugo Barra and Bin Lin from Xiaomi that he was excited about the future of Indian smartphone space with Xiaomi set to enter the competition especially in the budget market.
