The trusted Online influence measuring website Klout has joined forces with Lithium Technology. Klout has been one of the most widely used tools online to measure the Online influence of people. You simply need to connect your Social profiles such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc to Klout which then computes your influence out of 100, also giving you other important information like the people who influence you and the topics you talk most about. This matrix is really useful in evaluating the social media presence of an individual or a brand.
Klout was formulated in 2008 and now six years later they have joined forces with Lithium Technologies. Lithium said of the acquisition on their webpage, “We’re combining consumer reach and reputation system with the leading community platform; building a trusted online connection between consumers and the brands they care about.”

According to the official press release, Klout will continue to offer their products while Lithium will add on new product portfolios built around advocacy, loyalty, and enhanced profiles. More information about the roadmap of the two companies will be revealed at LiNC 2014.
