Even in the day and age where virtually every product is leaked on the super powerful internet, Apple is one of the very few major companies who are able to maintain some level of secrecy. For example, everybody seems to know that Apple is working on a smart watch, but nobody has a clue what does one look like or what features it may have. Similarly, there have been rumors of a bigger iPhone 6, but again very little is known about the design or the set of things that the device will bring to the table.
However, looks like Macrumors have got their hands on the product launch roadmap of Apple for the year 2014. It does not take a rocket scientist to guess that most of the product launches from Apple happen in the second half of the year with new Macbook Airs, iWatch, refreshed iPhones and perhaps an Apple TV set to be rolled out this year. However, the document gives a bit more details into the plans of the Cupertino based company.
According to the document, we will see new iMacs which will incidentally be also a lot more affordable that what they are currently in the second quarter of the year, perhaps even at WWDC this year. The third quarter of the year will see iWatch finally rolled out in two different sizes as well as an all new designed 4.7 inch iPhone plus iPad Air and iPad Mini upgrades. Not just this, there will be an Apple TV upgrade, new ultra slim Macbooks and Retina Macbook Pros in the third quarter of 2014. Towards the fourth quarter of the year, Apple will release a phablet type iPhone with 5.5 inch screen size.
If this document is to be believed then we can expect plenty of action from Apple in this calendar year. Despite these leaks being proven wrong more often than not, we are inclined to believe this one simply because rumors of pretty much every single product on that scale has been doing rounds pretty consistantly. Anyway, there is only one way to find out if this happens indeed, and that is by waiting and watching.
