The year 2014 could be the year when LG emerges from the shadows of big OEMs and stamps its authority in the personal technology space as a market leader instead of being just another coach in an ever expanding train. The whole industry is watching them and their products with great interest and you can be assured that anything to come out from their corridors will be put under the microscope.
The LG G2 was without a doubt the best Android smartphone in terms of performances last year. Add in the fact that LG actually dared to do something distinctively different and you know there are big shoes to fill in this time around with eyes firmly fixed on their every move. The date to mark your calendars is May 27th, that is when LG plans to bring the LG G3 before the world. An invite was sent to the global media for events to be held simultaneously in San Francisco, New York and London.
There have been several leaks around the device and what it would bring. It is pretty much confirmed that the G3 will bring an Ultra HD display and be available in a sparkling golden color. Few leaked screenshots also pointed towards a revamped and re worked LG’s Optimus UI running on Android 4.4 KitKat for the G3. It is expected LG will continue with their design lingo of putting the volume rocker buttons and power button on the back of the device. A leaked shot from one of the potential case makers of the G3 backed the thought.
