Sony has announced the much anticipated Sony Xperia Z2 in India for a price of Rs 49,990 after it was shown to the world at MWC in Barcelona earlier this year. Sony plans to aggressively take on market competitors such as Samsung, Apple, HTC and LG and while at the first read, that price may not look all that impressive, you have not heard the full story yet.
Sony would be offering freebies such as a protective cover worth Rs 2,990, a smartband worth Rs 5,990 as well as insurance for accidental damage for sixth months from the date you pick your smartphone.
