Are you a TV addict or a movie maniac and spend hours on end either on your TV or a portable device watching the action unfold? If you are then the chances are you are just as much interested in the soundtrack of the movie or series as much as you are into following the next big twist in the story. There are several ways of finding out the tune though, most popular being simply having Shazam on your phone on an always listening mode and then going on to buying the Tune from iTunes or Google Play in case you like the music.
However, this can be a bit of a hassle and we bet you do not want to be handling too many devices when watching your favourite sitcom. This is where TuneFind comes in really handy. TuneFind basically is a community maintained database of all the tunes and songs from your favourite TV series or movie. The information here is submitted and maintained by the TuneFind members.
When you visit the site for the first time, it gives you the list of the most popular TV shows at the moment as well as the most popular songs. You can go through them to get an idea of what is trending along. The site also gives you an information on what is new on the TV during the week so you do not miss out on the TV shows. The site homepage also gives you information about the questions that people are asking as well as the most recently added movie soundtrack information.
As of writing this post, the service boasts of having 58,400 songs, 23,600 artists, 18,200 episodes and movies, 218,400 store links in 13 countries. You can join the site for absolute free by signing up using your E-Mail account or directly connecting with your Facebook account. Once you have done that, you can also contribute to the TuneFind community. If not, you can still search for the Series or Movie, whose soundtrack you wish to know by simply using the Search bar at the top of the website. Once you are at the page of the corresponding series and episode number, you will see the questions that people have posted about the songs as well as the order of the songs that were played during the run time. If you have any question, regarding the tune, you can also go on and ask the same there.
This feature makes TuneFind a lot more usable than Shazam as we found that there were several tracks that Shazam was unable to recognise and TuneFind came to our rescue. Add in the support of the community and you have a brilliant tool to help you find out the tune you are looking for.
