The LG G3 is set to take the center stage on 27th of this month and wow us. It would be the last major Android flagship of 2014 and as a result plenty of eyeballs are resting on it building curiosity around what the device would bring. The device has been leaked out enough number of times on the internet to give us an idea of how it would look like and it is no secret that the device is bringing with it a power punch of specifications.
So far we only knew that the G3 will bring a 2K display with minimum bezels and similarly placed rear volume and power buttons as the G2. However, thanks to a keynote slide, that has been prepared for the launch in Korea, being leaked out, we have the full information of what the G3 will be rocking. The device would be 8.9 mm thick and will bring a 5.5 inch Quad HD IPS display. The phone as expected will come with Android 4.4 out of the box and support LTE at least in Korea. The variant listed on the slide will have an internal memory of 32 GB and 3 GB of RAM, we really hope LG brings this same version to India as 16 GB smartphones really do not tickle the fancy anymore.
LG G3 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC and have a 3,000 mAh battery which in all probability will be non removable. It would support Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC as expected. It is also worth noting that the G3 will have a full RGB sub pixel stripe instead of the pentile arrangement or any other fancy arrangement giving it a better pixel density and a sharper display.
The rear camera would be a 13 MP shooter with OIS while you will have to make do with a 2.1 MP front facing camera for selfies and video calls. The device will also have 1 Watt external speaker and will come in three variants, i.e black, white and gold.
