The fight for the best budget Android smartphone running the latest Android version is certainly heating up in the market. With the Moto E and Micromax Unite 2 setting the paces early on, several other major players are joining the race. The latest entrant to the club is Karbonn with their KitKat powered Titanium S99. Karbonn says, that the device is made keeping in mind the needs and requirements of those in the tier 2/3 markets in India.
Mr. Shashin Devsare, the Executive Director of Karbonn has been quoted saying:

It provides all-in-one solution to user’s communication needs by providing upgraded Hangouts App supported with improved SMS & MMS integration. Hot ‘Ok Google’ feature predicts information based on user’s location, favourite sites and TV programs. In addition, Android KitKat includes a variety of new features like Smarter Caller ID, faster multitasking, low-power location monitoring, , redesigned downloads app and easy home screen switching to name a few. The combination of these extraordinary features make KitKat a solid addition to the Android family.
The Titanium S99 sports a 4 inch display, whose resolution is not known yet. The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor with 512 MB of RAM. There is a rear camera with 5 MP sensor and a secondary camera available too. An LED light is present on the rear of the device to help you with low light shooting. The internal storage here is 4 GB, though you do have a Micro SD slot that supports Micro SD cards up to 32 GB. The phone has a dual SIM configuration, so you will be able to use two active SIMs. Other connectivity options including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G and GPRS are included as well.
The phone has a 1400 mAh battery and would be available in both black and white variant. Karbonn has decided to include a silicon case with the device as well to make the whole package look a little more interesting.
