Nokia is expected to announce as many as ten devices in the year 2014 and 2015 combined. We have already seen three of these in the form of Nokia Lumia 630, Lumia 635 and Lumia 930. If the leaked roadmap by the trusted twitter account @Evleaks is to go by, there are two more budget smartphones that are to come from Nokia before the year turns. One of the devices is rumored to be the successor to the Nokia Lumia 820, called the Lumia 830.
The first shots of the smartphone have allegedly appeared on the Chinese microblogging site, Weibo. The device bears a strong resemblance to the Nokia Lumia 920 with a polycarbonate back shell. Apart from that, the camera lens very much like the Lumia 1020, though obviously much smaller. There is no Xenon Flash here, and is replaced by an LED, which makes us question whether this device will have the PureView technology that most high end Nokia Lumia devices come with. The display on board too looks larger than the 4.3 inch one that we had on the Lumia 820.
It is obviously possible that the device in picture is a dated model that Nokia did not pursue. However, with two budget phones yet to come and seeing how the Lumia 820 was a rather successful device, it is not beyond the possibility that this is indeed one of Tesla or Superman, the alleged budget smartphones that are to come from Nokia this year. Obviously no information about the specifications or release or price point is available currently.
