If you asked a random set of 10 people what would be the five things that they would make sure that they carry with them if the earth has to go kaput today, the chances that mobile phone figures in those would be absolutely insane. We are so dependent on our phones that literally until there is an app for getting a job done, it seems a bit like a tall order. With more and more mobile apps coming into the utility space, this dependency is becoming even greater, right from ordering your grocery to ordering for dinner and later picking up a doctor if you fell ill.
But what if you need to pamper yourself and get yourself a nice spa and take some time off? This is where Ziffi.com is a very handy application to try out. The application lets you connect with doctors, spas, diagnostic centers and labs to pick up an appointment with any of them without having to spend time waiting in ques and fretting over the heat. The application interface in our short time with it seemed good and you can log in using your Facebook or Google+ account if you have no patience. You do have a referral system as well as a verification via an OTP once you do connect to the application.
Post login the interface is really simple and you have big blocks of three services in the form of Salons and Spas, Doctors and then Diagnostics. While the app picks the location on its own, you can also manually change this from the top menu.
As an introductory offer, Ziffi is preloading your wallet with Rs 600 after you sign up so that any service that you choose within the amount would be absolutely free. You can obviously recharge this money and then use it for a cashless transaction. Not just this, you also have an Offer section which basically lets you know of the current offers that are live.
Once you pick up the service that you wish to use, you are given an option of sub-services within the service, for example, the likes of makeup under Spa. You get to pick up the service and the nearby locations where you could book an appointment. You can go ahead pick a time and then fix the appointment, though we did miss out that the services did not have any sort of a star rating or feedback for us to get an idea of what the users who have availed the services in the past feel about it. Other than that, you do get a confirmation message when the booking has been confirmed via the app at the time you wish it for and things are generally snappy. The app description says that you have a robust database of over 30,000 service providers so there is ample to look around.
You can too try out Ziffi by downloading it from Google Play right here.
