Lenovo recently announced that the Vibe moniker will be kept restricted to the devices in the mid-budget segment while the new flagships or higher end phones will come with the Motorola branding. However, just before that strategy takes to life, looks like the last of the high-end Vibe devices are out. Lenovo has announced the Lenovo Vibe X3 at a price point of Rs 19,999. The phone follows the recent announcement of the Lenovo K4 Note and looks to build up upon it with an impressive array of specifications. Lenovo has hit a jackpot with the likes of the K3 Note and a fair few other lower budget devices, and would be looking at the Vibe X3 to make a dent in the upper budget segment too.
The Lenovo Vibe X3 comes with a 5.5 inch 1080 P display and is running Snapdragon 808 at heart, the processor which is powering the likes of LG G4 as well as the LG Nexus 5X. The phone boasts of a front-facing, dual stereo Dolby Atmos speakers as well as a pretty amazing 21 MP PDAF camera. There is a dual LED flash and the camera is capable of recording videos in 4K videos. The front facing camera is no slouch either, with 8 MP sensor featuring a f/2.2 aperture.
On the memory front, you have 32 GB internal memory and 3 GB RAM. There is a hybrid SIM slot, which allows you to either use two nano SIM cards, or one nano-SIM card and one Micro SD card. The battery on board is 3600 mAh, which is a non-removable unit. The phone weighs slightly heavily at 173 grams, and that is down to the chrome strips on the side that flank what is otherwise a polycarbonate body. The Vibe X3 will run Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
The phone will be available in white color and will be an Amazon exclusive product, at least, to start off with. The ANT VR headset that was launched with Lenovo K4 Note will be compatible with the Vibe X3 and will be available on Amazon starting tomorrow. You can pick the phone for the MRP of Rs 19,999.
