Xender, the popular file transfer and sharing application, has reached a milestone of 170 million users in India over the last three years. With easy transferability between Android, iPhone, and Windows phones, the Windows PC, and even the Mac, Xender has emerged as a leader in the over-crowded tech world of file sharing via mobile. No wonder they clock an annual growth rate of 100%.
Commenting on the milestone success,
“India is an extremely critical market for us with file transfer volume scaling 1.7 million. With over 500 million cumulative global users, we target to attain 800 million global users over the next 3 years.”
Says founder of Xender, Peter Jiang.
Of the 170 million Indian users, Xender’s maximum user base hails from Mumbai, with Delhi and Kolkata not far behind. According to the founder and sources within the company, Xender has become a popular icon in most of the north Indian metro cities.
Xender had recently launched a new version of its app, along with an improved user experience and a new logo with a vibrant orange hue that, according to sources, represents the dynamic spirit that Xender holds as a company.
