With our social lives becoming more and more spontaneous by the day, social media is also catching up. After popular sites like Instagram and Facebook introduced sharing of instant moments and stories, Twitter has also joined the party. You can now create Twitter moments.
A Twitter moment is a collection of curated Tweets. And there are two ways in which you can create a Twitter moment, either from a Tweet or from the Moments screen.
Tap the drop-down arrow at the top of the Tweet and select the option to “Add to Moment.” This will take you to the Moments screen where you can make it a separate moment. If you already have a bunch of Moments, you can also select which moment you want to add the Tweet into.
Go to the “Me” tab and open Settings. In the menu that pops up, select the “Moments” option. This will take you to the Moments screen where you can access all the moments you’ve created or create a new one.
If you’re an Android user, however, tap on your profile and from the navigation drawer. Then select the “Moments” option.
You can add certain Tweets to a moment, either from the Moment you’re creating or from your timeline.
If you’re inside a Moment, just tap on the “Add Tweets” button. You can then pull in your own Tweets, including Tweets you’ve liked and retweeted.
If you want to add a Tweet from your timeline to a moment, tap on the drop-down arrow and select the “Add to Moment” option.
Go ahead, try it out. Reorder Tweets in a moment, save it as a draft, or if you’re ready to showcase your Moment, just hit Publish at the top of your screen. Express your precious moments in more ways than one.
