Temporary is becoming the trend now. After WhatsApp released 24-hour statuses that disappear, Facebook is bringing something similar to Messenger as well. Messenger Days is the new feature that lets you share temporary photos and videos. Your friends can engage with these photos and videos until they disappear in twenty-four hours. Oh, and you can choose to delete them anytime sooner.
Messenger Days on the latest update
If you have updated your Messenger app to the latest version, you’ll be able to create a “Day” right away. Just open up the full-screen camera or hit “My Day” in your inbox. You can, as usual, take a picture and edit it. Once you’re done, you can share the picture to your “Day”. Alternatively, you can also share it with a friend or groups or save in to your phone.
If you’re chatting with a friend and are sharing photos or videos, you can add those to your Day, too. Hit the “Add to your Day” option below the photo or video and it will be automatically added to your Day. And just like limiting post visibility on Facebook, you can decide who gets to see your Days.
