Motorola’s device for this year, a sequel in the Moto X series is yet to hit the markets. But like most technology news nowadays, the internet has got wind of what the new phone will be like. According to Twitter user Roland Quandt (@rquandt), the new Motorola Moto X, which is codenamed as Sanders, would have the same specifications as the previous leaks from Jerry Yin claimed. Here’s what Roland Quandt says the new Moto X will feature:
- Snapdragon 625 processor
- 3/4GB of RAM
- 32/64GB of ROM
- 13-megapixel camera
Moto X: more rumours
Not long afterwards, Roland Quandt tweeted again with new details about the Moto X. He says the new device will be named “Motorola Albus”. The other specification remain the same except the camera which he now claims is a 12-megapixel one. He also says in his tweet that the new device is,
“Weirdly identifying itself as somehow related to Moto Z Play, but diff cam[era]”
Combining all rumours
Android Community has picked up all rumours and leaked images from various sources and compiled a list of the predictions for this year’s Moto X. So in addition to the specifications above, here’s what we can expect:
- A dual camera.
- An oval-shaped fingerprint scanner.
- Support for flash.
- An all-metal design and antenna lines.
- A model number of XT1801.
- No support for Moto mods.
Of course, the back panel of the phone will carry the trademark logo of Moto. That’s all we have for now, but we can expect more news in coming weeks as Moto preps itself to introduce us to its latest creation.
