Facebook knows how important friends are for someone in their life – to seek advices, interact and have fun. Keeping this in mind, a new feature is being rolled out – Facebook Questions.
(This was originally unveiled last summer but was limited to few beta testers only.)
We noticed that people were frequently asking for opinions (“what are your favorite restaurants in New York?”) or hoping to learn about their friends (“what was your favorite movie as a kid, something you watched over and over?”). For most of these questions, experts weren’t going to be the best source for advice. The answers to these questions are meaningful or interesting because you know your friends and your friends know you.
Try it out: Facebook Questions
Unlike Yahoo Answers or Answers.com, People would be able to ask not only questions to their friends and get recommendations but also add a poll to gather opinions, add Photos, Tags and follow questions, thus adding more social touch to it. To make it even better, when a friend of yours answers your question or follows it, their friends will also be able to see/answer/follow the question.
Although, a question will be visible to all of your friends, you can also alert them by clicking on “Ask Friends” to choose specific persons.
How to enable Questions?
Facebook says this feature will be rolled out to everyone soon, but if you wish to get it before anyone else, head over to – Facebook Questions and hit the green “Get Questions Now” button.
