Microsoft recently gave us a sneak peek of Windows 8 and showed how it aims to target the tablet market which is majorly dominated by iPad and Android tablets. After seeing a prototype video, I’m really looking forward to it. More thoughts on it later and back to the topic:
If you wish to bring its metro interface to Windows 7, then here’s an app for that: Windows8Menu.

The app is purely built on IE and similar to Windows 8’s UI, it’s homescreen contains of tiles which are actually links to different websites. . Hovering mouse to the left will bring a menu consisting of buttons for searching, returning back to the main menu etc. Some features like Share, Settings are still in development.
Watch its Multi-Tasking feature in Action
The best feature: I can swipe between windows by hovering mouse to the left and then dragging windows into the center.
