4 Applications to Manage Multiple Cloud Services From One Place

August 25th, 2011 by

These days Cloud Services are becoming an important part of our life. You can have a look at my post on some best free Cloud Storage Options.

With increasing number of players in the industry and the variations in the list of features they provide; we tend to shift from one provider to another. Say a new provider introduces a feature which is far more appealing and the first provider lacks it, so we make a shift to the new provider. Now it so happens that a third provider trying to make a make brings in all the goodies of both the previous providers along with few more additions, you again make a shift.

Most of the times, you feel it boring to transfer your old files from provider to provider. So you now have your data with 3 providers and you need to remember, “what is with whom” and most importantly, the login credentials. Which is pretty confusing and cumbersome too! The solution to this problem lies in having an app which can help you manage all such cloud services from one place. My search for such a service lead me to these 4 (yes! again more than one) options.

Primadesk is a clear winner here, simply because it supports more services and is a lot easier to use. Also none of the other competitors support emails and social networking sites.

Wonder when all these apps will add support for Google+.  As always, your views are welcome!

You can also try, which not only lets you manage all your cloud storage services via a single login but also allows you to share, back up your content too, moreover it`s like a web desktop over the cloud.

Dr Kunal - Are you familiar with iSpaces? Check it out at iSpaces is a free cloud computer that simplifies the chaos of managing multiple personal cloud storage accounts. What makes iSpaces different from Primadesk, Otixo, Gladinet and Joukuu is that iSpaces is an entire cloud operating system that gives users the freedom to safely access all of their online content, anytime, from any computer. As the first true “personal cloud computer” iSpaces offers: CloudBrowser - a web-based browser that saves browsing history and lets users log in and out of iSpaces from multiple computers without having to relaunch web applications. Online document creation tools from Zoho Office Suite. Google Docs, OpenOffice and many other online office suites are also accessible through iSpaces. FileSpace - Users drag and drop files between iSpaces storage, DropBox, Box and local files from one safe and convenient interface. Spaces that act like multiple virtual desktops where users can manage and organize their work, personal life and applications. (similar to Mac Spaces)

This is a list I was looking for. Wonder if you review DropInOne, and CarotDav. DropInOne ( is a free online cloud drive manager support for Google Drive, Dropbox,, Skydrive, Amazon S3, SugarSync. CarotDav is a software for client-side.

As alternative to Otixo, I'm using MultCloud, which is free, and support to transfer files among multiple cloud drives without downloading files to local. Check it at:
