Google is working hard to make Chrome browsing experience as secure as possible and now they have come up with something very cool! They arey paying upto $1337 if you find a bug in Chrome which is very Serious and Critical and should be fixed as soon as possible.
Google hopes that the introduction of this program will encourage new individuals to participate in Chromium security. This campaign is very similar to the one started by Mozilla (Bug Bounty) some time ago by giving incentive for external researchers to participate.
The base prize will be $500 which is very similar to what Mozilla was paying and for the bugs which are severe and can have a high impact will be rewarded $1337 (which is the number for an internet slang language known as “Leet Speak” )
Those interested in this new program can file their bugs using the Bug Tracker. But by the way, you should first take some time to check the already-submitted bugs :)
