A quick run up through the Top Five Slates Till Date

So while we await the much hyped launch of the latest Slate from Apple,though we dont know what it is to be called,let us take a quick look back at the best Slates Till Date. So that it will be easier to compare how the latest product from Apple fares.

1.) Undoubtedly the best one till date would be Apple  Newton:It was introduced way back in 1993,making it the first powerful PDA device.

2.)Panasonic Toughbook 08 (The Sturdy One): I call it the “sturdy one” because it was built for rough use.Dint have much goodies though.

3.) Motion M1200:It was truely the first “slate,”  it was priced at $2,200 in 2002

4.)Samsung Q1 Ultra: It was the first project built under Microsoft’s Origami project.Major short coming was its small screen.
