Bing now helps you to cook Food!

Great news for those who love to taste new dishes often! Bing is now offering search results for your favorite recipes! It Seems like Bing is trying to come up with new creative ideas to attract some Google Lovers to itself!

Bing, in conjunction with a variety of recipe websites like MyRecipes.com and Epicurious.com, will provide you with how-to-make-this-dish search results for all those food lovers out there!

When you search for a food item like “macaroni”, Bing will provide you with search results that involve that item. Btw, you will have to choose the recipe pages by clicking on the tab to the left of results titled “Macaroni Recipes” You can also filter the recipe results by Holiday, Meals, Ratings etc.

According to Bing’s blog :

After watching Julie and Julia I think everyone might have a little bit of Julia Child inside of them somewhere (even Stefan…who would’ve thought he had an apron with his name on it). So when you find yourself looking for that new recipe to whip up for dinner or your next cocktail party, Bing makes it easier by providing cooking recipes and details in our new detailed recipe results.

Each Recipe result will also show the source of the recipe site, type of cuisine, ratings and main ingredients. This nifty feature is good coz it is not easy to browse through all the recipes available on the net.

Unfortunately, the recipe feature doesn’t show up for every query. I started off with sandwich but i didn’t see any recipe result so maybe it will take sometime for your favorite dish to appear on the results.
